The Property & Welcome

Where is Amandari Provence Holidays located?

L'Amandari is a former sheepfold nestled at the end of a small dirt road in Le Plan-de-la-Tour, in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. The address is 73 route du Plan, Vallat d'Emponse.

Is the house far from the village?

The house is located a 5-minute walk from the village and its restaurants.

Who are your hosts?

Cécile and Philippe have been welcoming guests since 2002 in this peaceful haven where calm, friendliness, and respect for everyone prevail.

What are the opening dates?

The property is open all year round for your holidays in Provence.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, dogs are allowed, subject to prior approval by Cécile and Philippe. The rate varies from €5 to €10 per day depending on the size of the animal.

Our Guest Rooms

Do the rooms have air conditioning?

Yes, all guest rooms are air-conditioned.

Is breakfast included?

Yes, for all our guest rooms and the caravan, breakfast is included in the nightly rate. It is served at the communal table.

For the gîtes, breakfast can be served as an option at the guest table for an additional €12 per person.

What does breakfast include?

We offer a "French-style" breakfast: it includes homemade jams, bread and pastries, seasonal fruits or fruit salad, yogurts, and fruit juices.

A great way to start the day before exploring Provence.

What facilities does the Amande room offer?

Located on the ground floor, it offers 30 m² of comfort with a 160 cm bed, a whirlpool bathtub, an Italian-style shower with massage jets, and direct access to the pool.

Can the Romarin room accommodate three people?

Absolutely. It features a very large bed (or two single beds) and an additional single bed (90x190).

What is special about the Olive room?

It is a cozy 15 m² room with a private terrace. Its toilet is private but located outside the room, accessible via an adjoining vestibule.

Gîtes & Unique Accommodations

Do you offer unique accommodations?

Yes, we offer an authentic 1930s fairground caravan, fully renovated and air-conditioned, with a kitchenette, bathroom, and private terrace.

What is the capacity of the Amandari Gîte?

This gîte can be rented in a "Midi" package for 4 to 5 people or in a "Maxi" package for 6 to 7 people (up to 8 with an extra charge).

For added comfort, we can also offer the caravan as an additional bedroom.

What is the "Mazet"?

It is a small single-story independent house with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, air-conditioned bedroom with TV. It also has a private shaded terrace with barbecue or plancha.

Can four people stay in the Maisonnette?

Yes, this apartment features an air-conditioned bedroom with a large bed or two single beds, and an air-conditioned living room with Smart TV and a sofa bed accommodating up to 4 people from the same family (2 adults and 2 children).

Is household linen provided in the gîtes?

Linen is provided and beds are made upon arrival for all accommodations (except beach and pool towels). A cleaning fee is required for the gîtes.

Do you offer breakfast for the gîtes?

For the gîtes, breakfast can be served as an option at the guest table for an additional €12 per person.

Relaxation & Leisure

Is the pool heated?

Yes, you can enjoy the heated pool from May to October.

What wellness facilities are available?

In addition to the pool and jacuzzi (subject to conditions), some accommodations such as the large gîte offer massage jets and counter-current swimming options.

What are the conditions for using the jacuzzi?

The jacuzzi is free for stays longer than 3 nights (for stays under 3 nights, it is accessible by reservation with a flat fee of €20). It is available from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM and reserved for adults.

Is Wi-Fi available on site?

Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the property.

Can we dine on site?

We offer a guest table by reservation, for a minimum of 6 people, at a rate of €35 per person.

In season, an outdoor kitchen equipped with a barbecue is available to our guests.

Are there restaurants in Le Plan de la Tour?

There are several restaurants in the village, just a few minutes’ walk away. You will find Provençal or Italian specialties, cafés, pizzerias, a crêperie, and more.

What sports activities are available nearby?

On site, there is a pétanque court, a ping-pong table, and bike rental is available.

The region is ideal for hiking in the Massif des Maures, cycling, tennis, golf, and many water activities such as sailing, paddleboarding, snorkeling, or kayaking.

Rates & Reservations

What is the minimum stay?

It is 2 nights for guest rooms and the caravan, 3 nights for the Mazet and Maisonnette, and 5 nights for the large gîte.

What is the tourist tax?

It is €1.20 per person per night for guest rooms and the caravan, and €2.20 for the gîtes.

How can I ensure I get the best price?

By booking directly through our website, you always benefit from the best guaranteed rate.

What payment methods are accepted?

Payments can be made by bank transfer, cash, or cheque.
We accept ANCV holiday vouchers, up to 30% of the total stay.

What period is considered "Very High Season"?

In 2026, the very high season runs from July 11 to August 21.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Rooms must be vacated before 11:30 AM on the day of departure.

Why is there a specific arrival time?

L'Amandari is a guesthouse run by a couple. The defined arrival time ensures that your room is ready and that we can welcome you calmly and with our full attention. We kindly ask you to respect the agreed arrival time and inform us of any delay.

Location & Tourism

What makes Le Plan de la Tour special?

Le Plan de la Tour is a Provençal village appreciated for its peaceful environment and ideal location. The village is known for its Thursday morning Provençal market, its wine cellars where you can buy directly from producers. It also offers all essential amenities: local shops, restaurants, pharmacy and doctors, and quick access to main roads.

It is a convenient base for exploring the region while enjoying a tranquil setting.

How far is Saint-Tropez?

The iconic port of Saint-Tropez is about 19 km from the guesthouse, while the famous Pampelonne beach is 24 km away.
You can quickly reach Saint-Tropez using the "Bateaux Verts" sea shuttles from Sainte-Maxime (15-minute crossing).

Which hilltop villages should you visit?

We recommend discovering Grimaud, Gassin, Ramatuelle, La Garde-Freinet, and Collobrières.

Where can you find the wildest beaches?

The coastal paths towards l’Escalet or Gigaro offer preserved landscapes and beautiful coves.

Where are the nearest beaches?

The most accessible beaches are in Sainte-Maxime: La Nartelle (12 km) and the town center beach (10 km).

Which cultural sites do you recommend in the Var?

The Thoronet Abbey, the Chartreuse de la Verne, as well as the arenas and cloister of Fréjus are must-see sites.

Can you easily reach the Hyères islands?

Yes, the islands of Porquerolles and Port-Cros are natural paradises accessible for a day trip.
